Geoff Becker is the author of the novels Hot Springs (Tin House Books, 2010) and Bluestown (St. Martin's Press, 1996), as well as the story collections, Black Elvis (U. of Georgia Press, 2009) and Dangerous Men (U. of Pittsburgh Press, 1995). His awards and honors include: the Drue Heinz Prize for Literature, the Flannery O'Connor Prize for Short Fiction, The Nelson Algren Award, an NEA Fellowship, inclusion in the Best American Short Stories anthology, three Maryland Arts Council Awards, and the Parthenon Prize for Fiction.
