Through the University's 负责任老虎协议 (RTP) amnesty program, students who are assessed by medical professionals as a result of overconsumption of alcohol and/or cannabis will not face formal disciplinary action by the University, provided that no other policy violations were committed during the incident, and a pattern of this type of behavior is not reoccurring.

A "Good Samaritan" who notifies emergency or a university official to obtain medical assistance for an intoxicated student will not face disciplinary action if they otherwise did not violate additional university policies listed in the 学生责任守则. Alcohol, cannabis and any other intoxicating substance that could leave someone incapacitated are covered under this policy.

As the 学生责任守则 applies to all 稳定的十大彩票网站 students, any alleged violation(s) of substance misuse policy(s) apply to students. This means that the policy(s) would apply to a student who calls for help for a non-affiliate of the University.

RTP的目的是为人们提供所需的医疗援助。 If you are calling on behalf of someone who requires medical attention, you can qualify for RTP more than once. If you are the person in need of medical attention as a result of substance use, you may only use RTP one time.

学生 who are eligible for use of the RTP must meet with a professional staff member in the Office of Student Accountability and Restorative Practices for an educational conversation and receive a substance use assessment from the Counseling Center. 父母 of students under the legal age for cannabis and alcohol may be notified.

学生 who fail to cooperate with the advice of medical professionals, meet with a representative from the Office of Student Accountability and Restorative Practices or choose not to participate in the required interventions will be subject to formal disciplinary action.

Previous disciplinary history or lack of cooperation with responding or university officials may limit eligibility for this program.
