教学奖

教务长办公室 is pleased to announce the inaugural 陶森研讨会 教学奖 to recognize exceptional teaching in TSEM courses during the 2024-2025 academic year. This award will celebrate three TSEM faculty who demonstrated outstanding commitment to student success through innovative and effective TSEM instruction.

提名程序

学生 and colleagues are invited to nominate faculty members who have made a significant impact through their TSEM teaching. Nominations should briefly highlight how the faculty member has excelled in teaching TSEM through methods such as:

  • 培养有意义的学生参与
  • 支持研究技能和修订过程
  • 建立包容的课堂社区
  • 促进有效沟通
  • 实施创新教学方法
  • 将课程内容与更广泛的教育目标联系起来

不接受自行提名。

奖的细节

  • 获奖者将获得750美元的酬金和一份表彰证书。
  • 奖项将在2025年秋季的教师/员工欢迎活动中颁发。

提名结束后，将联系被提名的教员。 Those who wish to be considered for the award will be asked to submit:

选择过程

A subcommittee of the 机电工程署顾问委员会 will review all complete applications and make recommendations to the Office of the Provost. Selection will be based on evidence of teaching excellence, innovation, and positive impact on students.
